Scuba Diving in Cancun for Certified Divers

Cancun offers divers great scuba diving options like reef diving, night diving, and wreck diving. Dive departures are available every day and depart right in the hotel zone. The reefs and dive sites in Cancun are the same sites people dive from Isla Mujeres.

There are two areas that dives take place in Cancun. We have an area of reefs in the 50ft to 60ft range and then there are several shallow sites in the 25ft to 35ft range. Morning dives go to the deeper sites and the afternoon trip is to the shallow sites. We also have a wreck dive in 85ft to 90ft for Advanced certified divers only. We also dive the MUSA Cancun Underwater Museum on the shallow afternoon dive trip.

Scuba Diving in Cancun

Cancun 2Tank Dive - 10:00am

The 2 Tank Cancun dive is our morning trip that visits the reefs off the coast of Cancun in between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. The dives are genarally done as drift dives and range from 55ft to 60ft. The trip departs at 10am and returns around 1:45pm to 2:00pm.

Dive Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Dives include all rental gear except wetsuits which are available to rent for $10usd per day.

Cancun 2 Tank Dive - 2:15pm

The Cancun 1 Tank Dive trip is our shallow afternoon dive. This trip is great for divers who have not been diving in a while or those who maybe want to visit the Cancun Underwater Museum Site MUSA which is done on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Dive Schedule: Daily

Dives include all rental gear except wetsuits which are available to rent for $10usd per day.

Cancun Night Dive - Dusk

Night diving is an amazing experience. If you have never done a night dive Cancun is a great place to give it a try. The Cancun Night Dive is done on our local reefs off the coast in between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. The dive will be done on the 60ft reefs or the 35ft reefs based on the weather conditions.

Dive Schedule: Thursday

Dives include all rental gear except wetsuits which are available to rent for $10usd per day.

Cancun Wreck Dive - 10:00am

The Wreck dive is advanced certified divers only. The site is in about 85ft of water and there are very strong currents. The site is a the C-58 Mine Sweeper. BAsed on weather conditions the first dive is done at the wreck and the second dive is usually back on the reefs.

Dive Schedule: Wednesday and Friday

Dives include all rental gear except wetsuits which are available to rent for $10usd per day.

Cancun Snorkel Trip - 2:15pm

If you have family or friends with you that are not divers, we do offer a snorkel option on the shallow afternoon 2:15pm trip.
